Taking his first elite victory in the ProXCT series, Under-23 National Champion Cypress Gorry
earned top honors at the high elevation Chile Challenge in Angel Fire,
NM this weekend. The win comes on the heels of a podium finish at the
Missoula ProXCT and with just three weeks until the National
Championships in Mammoth, CA.
Adding to a successful day of cross country for the Whole Athlete/Specialized Team, Anders Johnson battled to the podium with 3rd in the UCI Junior race, while Quinn Simmons
earned 4th in the highly competitive Junior 15/16 field. Gorry and
Johnson then capped off the weekend with with 6th and 10th in the Pro
Short Track on Sunday.
