Another day, another singletrack

Went for a relatively mellow ride today - just under 3 hrs, but plenty of fun trails and breathtaking vistas.

Stanford Rock

Beautiful loop today, up to Stanford Rock, a polished obsidian monolith at 8500 feet that, according to geologists, blew out of a volcano and landed there. The vistas were breathtaking as you can glimpse from the photos. Unbelievable singletrack descending...Of course start the day with some yoga at the lake.

European podium

While the rest of the team trains at Tahoe altitude, Will Curtis and Davis Bentley are racing the challenging XC courses of Germany and Switzerland - taking two podium steps in the Frieborg (Germany) race today. They'll be joining us in Tahoe City this week. Have a safe trip.

A day in the life...

Tahoe altitude camp - Day 3

Epic. That word get's thrown around a lot to describe certain rides, but if ever there was an epic, today was it. Training on the climb up to Brockway Summit, then the Rim trail all the way from the summit to Tahoe City. 44 miles, over 5000 ft of climbing, nearly all of that on technical singletrack.

Starting the day with yoga readies our bodies and minds for the ride ahead.

A huge thanks to GU and CAN Do Kid for their generous support!

Stay tuned...
